Wednesday, Sept. 21 saw the first quarterly welcome fair at BC showcasing clubs, campus services and local companies. In the past held once a year the week before the start of fall quarter, the new format has the event taking place during the first week of each quarter.

Held for three hours, students were free to wander the courtyard and the “club hub” in rooms adjacent to the cafeteria to see what BC has to offer. A multitude of clubs and associations were represented, from international student groups to veteran groups, from a beekeeping club to physics club to the garden club, the fair was an opportunity for students to explore their options. BC staff and faculty also circulated through the event, doing outreach of their own to students.

Local companies were also in attendance, Costco and Microsoft did outreach and King County Metro and Sound Transit had a booth to inform students about transportation options.
