For over 30 years the ceramics department has been hosting an annual holiday pottery sale that occurs on the Thursday following Thanksgiving. The contributing artists include ceramics instructors, current and former students and other local artists. The event’s organizer, former BC student Karen Eaves, has been volunteering for the pottery department at BC for more than 10 years. Eaves said that for every item purchased, 25 percent of the proceeds go to supplies, equipment and other materials for the ceramics classes on campus. As for the proceeds from student contributed pieces, 100 percent goes directly to funding the ceramics studio.
