Student Program: Black Student Union

The Black Student Union is a program that allows students of any culture, race and ethnicity to come and learn about the beauty, history, power and community that the African American/Black culture has to offer.

Our program strives to share our history and knowledge in order to create a community with the students here and outside of campus.

This year we are planning to incorporate outreach to middle schools and high schools. We also hold events and gatherings for students, faculty and staff that are student-driven. We do all of these things while creating a safe community, learning environment and place of enjoyment for all.

Joining is very simple; just come to talk with BSU Director Taylor Anderson or any of the leadership team and fill out an application. The application is used to keep track of who is a part of our program as well as for contact information.
